Passed my 2nd week in the UAE and I am definitely feeling better here already.
Still no surfing.
I kinda liked strolling around Deira and old part of the city with small boats cruising from one side of the river to another for only 1 dirham (US$ 0.27).
Remind me never ever go to a spice . I thought Tuc tucers in SL are quite annoying but I had no idea that it can be so much worse.
And this is the reason why Gold Soul visit was dropped.
Deira looks like little India. Love it.
Uber drivers are making a lot of mistakes but all they care about is a high rating.
Really enjoying metro system over here. Considering that in 2008, when I was in Dubai for the first time, metro was just a project.
Burj Khalifa is overrated.
Residents are saying the upcoming summer will be horribly hot. It is worrying.
DWC seems much calmer. Love flying in/to that airport.
