Other Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is a federation made up of seven emirates. Except of Dubai and Abu Dhabi there are:

Sharjah. Recognised as the cultural capital, known for its preservation of Arab heritage and Islamic architecture. It is home to numerous museums, art galleries, and cultural festivals, making it a haven for art enthusiasts and history buffs.

 

Ajman. The smallest emirate and a serene coastal destination with pristine beaches, charming souks, and a laid-back atmosphere. It offers a glimpse into traditional Emirati life, with picturesque fishing villages and historic landmarks dotting its landscape.

 

Umm Al Quwain. Nestled along the coast of the Arabian Gulf, and renowned for its natural beauty and outdoor recreational activities. Visitors can explore its mangrove forests, go birdwatching, or indulge in water sports like surfing, sailing and kayaking.

 

Ras Al Khaimah. Boasting rugged mountains, sandy beaches, and archaeological sites. It is a nature lover's paradise that offers a wide range of outdoor adventures, including hiking, desert safaris, and mountain biking, as well as luxury resorts for relaxation.

 

Fujairah is a popular destination for diving, snorkeling, and water sports, with picturesque landscapes and historic attractions to explore.
