What a breathtaking slice of Mama Russia. This land feels like a page torn straight out of a Christmas fairytale, with its lush forests, majestic deers wandering freely, and a crisp snow-kissed charm that lingers in the air.

This region holds a unique blend of Russian warmth and a subtle Finnish influence, creating a fascinating cultural tapestry that’s as rich as its natural beauty.

Never did I imagine Kareliya would capture my heart quite like this. A little slice of magic, and without a doubt, my personal discovery of 2024.
